Upgrades & further targets
- Palpatine leads. Merciless Massacre and Palpatine’s leader zeta improve the control engine, but are not event admission requirements. Keep Thrawn fast enough to rescue an ally before the next dangerous enemy action.
Gameplay
- Tier 5 uses the same Rebel group with increasing strength. This win grants the 5★ unlock.
- Use Palpatine’s Shock/Stun and Vader’s debuffs to start the Empire turn cycle. If you have Merciless Massacre, spread its marked attacks deliberately instead of repeatedly hitting one marked target.
- Fracture the Taunting Chewbacca when he blocks access, or R2 when his control is the immediate threat. Thrawn can also pass a turn and restore Protection to a threatened ally.
- Remove Leia’s damage and R2’s control when exposed, then clear Han and Luke. Avoid killing Old Ben first if you can reach another threat: his death can strengthen the survivors.
- Use Tarkin’s Offense Down to reduce incoming damage and keep Royal Guard’s defensive support available. If Smoke Screen hides the damage dealers, control the visible target and wait for access rather than wasting a finishing hit.
